Camp Compass lets parents and guardians create an account to plan summer camps across children, budgets, and care windows. You can request deletion of your Camp Compass account and associated planning data at any time.

How to request deletion

Email support@campcompass.app with the subject Delete my Camp Compass account.

Please include the email address used for your Camp Compass account. If you are writing from a different email address, we may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.

What we delete

When we process your request, we delete or de-identify:

Your Camp Compass account profile.
Children and family planning details.
Saved plans, shortlisted camps, and selected camp sessions.
Community camp submissions associated with your account, unless we need to preserve public camp data after removing your account association.
Local sync records associated with your account when they reach our backend.

Timing

We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days. We will confirm when the request has been completed or if we need more information to verify the account.

Data we may retain

We may retain limited records if required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. Retained records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
